"나무처럼 가지를 뻗어"

적지 않은 시간을 

그림 그리는 작가로 사는 동안

인생 전체 내 곁에 두며,

그림은 어지러운 삶 속에 

나의 몸에 뿌리내려, 

저마다

가득 채우고 온전히 비워 주었다.

붓으로 나를 밀어 

공허한 공간을 치장하는 물감으로~

이야기를 품은 

색으로 녹아 나를 비추는 거울로~

새로운 깨달음, 

조용한 깊이, 

내가 걸어가는 모호한 여정의 사실적 형태가 되어,

언제나 진솔한 나의 모습을 마주할 수 있게 해주었다.

 '밑그림'에 나열되어 있는 그림들은 

나의 시간을 담은 소소한 기록이자, 

스스럼없이 쓰인 그림일기와 같다.

인정받고 박수받을 만한 

화려한 그림들은 아니지만..

적어도 '어제의 나'와 '오늘의 나' 사이에 

나를 깨고 나와 

끝이라 여긴 곳에서 한 발 더 나아가고팠던 

용기 있는 흔적들로

나름, 스스로 다독이며 따뜻하게 바라볼 수 있는 이유이다.

차곡차곡 축적될 앞으로의 그림 여정도

바라건대 나의 작은 표현의 파장들이

세상 속에 긍정적 빛깔로 물들 수 있다면

나의 삶을 담아 그림 속에서 찾고자 했던 표현의 성취이자,

뭐라도 해내려 했던 열망에 고마운 위안이 될 것이다.

내 손이 나아가는 의미에 대해 

물어 답을 찾고,

발을 내디뎌 내 쓸모가 도착할 

그 길을 가고 싶다.

내가 그려 갈 그림들의 사소한 의미 부여가

나무처럼 가지를 뻗어, 

맞이할 변화무상한 앞길에도 

선명한 '밑그림'이 되어 주리라 생각한다.

for a considerable amount of time

While living as a drawing artist

Put your whole life by my side,

Painting is a mess of life

Take root in my body,

one by one

I filled it up and emptied it completely.

Push me with a brush
With paint that decorates the empty space
It melts into the color that embraces the story
With a mirror that shines on me
A new realization,
Quiet depth,
in the realistic form of my ambiguous journey,
It always allowed me to face my true self.

They're not fancy paintings, but..
At least between "Yesterday's Myself" and "Today's Myself"
Break me and come out
I wanted to take a step further from where I thought it was the end
with courageous traces
This is why you can read and look at yourself warmly.

he future of painting that will be accumulated one by one
I hope that my little expression wavelengths
If I could color the world with a positive color
It is the achievement of the expression that I wanted to find 

in the painting with my life,
It will be a relief to the desire to do anything. 

About the meaning of my hand
Ask and find the answer,
I'm going to step on my feet, and my usefulness will arrive
I want to go down that road.
The small meaning of the pictures I'm going to draw
Stretch out branches like trees,
Even on the unchanging road ahead
I think it will be a clear 'sketch '.
